Welcome to Lake Tahoe, where winter weddings are nothing short of magical!

The Wedding Weekend of Jessica Lombardi and Switch Founder + CEO Rob Roy took place over three magical days celebrating life, luxury, and above all else, love.

As a luxury wedding planner, I've had the honor of curating some of the most beautiful weddings, but there's something truly special about this breathtaking destination. Imagine a world where crisp, cool air meets snow-capped mountains and the serene beauty of the lake surrounds you. We began our weekend in the mountains, with ski days and VIP parties at my couple's home in Martis Camp. A chalet themed welcome party came next, followed by the couple’s wedding day.

It was pure fairytale romance! A ceremony in a custom atrium built in the mountains, a white on white cocktail hour brought to life with a live jazz band, and culminating with a romantic black and white wedding reception. And not only did I plan this wedding, but I also officiated it until the soft glow of twinkling lights and the gentle flutter of snowflakes outside.

This is it!!! Day 6 of our Winter Wonderland experience.

The wedding of Jessica Lombardi to Switch Founder and CEO Rob Roy was truly a once in a lifetime experience. On our last and final day we began with, yes, another stormy snowfall! With over 4 feet of snow falling during our final day of set up, we needed to make a series of adjustments including extending everyone's rooms due to weather concerns and modifying the installation for safety. In the end, this was a perfectly magical day. We pushed through the final set up, I shared touching and funny moments with my couple, and with the snow falling all around I officiated their wedding and pronounced the husband and wife! I even danced a bit....

I hope you enjoyed this reality series on our winter wonderland wedding in Lake Tahoe. Truly, it was a dream come true for me as a designer, as an artist, and as a business. I was given creative control, worked with the best teams in the game, and created magic in the mountains.

And in the end, I was rewarded with two wonderful friends.

Welcome to Day 5 of our luxe Winter Wonderland Wedding at the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe.

This day was filled with activity. My day once again began at 5 am. As the sun came up our teams were loading into the ballrooms and finishing construction on the atrium. By 10 am my couple and guests were on the slopes, with our apres-ski event taking place before the night's welcome reception.

This day was filled with trouble shooting, putting out fires, and welcoming our guests into the wonderful world of our chic chalet at this, The Roy's Winter Wonderland Wedding.

After four long days, we FINALLY have an actual event! On Thursday, we hosted a private rehearsal for the bridal party followed by a VIP Holiday Cocktail Party for Jessica Lombardi to Switch Founder and CEO Rob Roy.

Day 4 was intense and the first time I actually wished that I could clone myself. My morning started at the Atrium build site, as we continued to stretch flooring and work on electric and lighting. The ballrooms were coming along, with the finishing touches being placed for our welcome reception and the vinyl finally relaxing in to the main ballroom for our wedding night.

On this day we have quite a bit of progress! The atrium is raised and lifted into the air and I rode a lift!!! We were able to begin setting up florals, loading in our hallway, and finalizing the details of the welcome reception.

This luxury wedding was the most intense build out I have ever attempted and I am so grateful for the overwhelming response!

The Daily Series: Day 2 of 6

Welcome to Day 2 of 6 as I produce a luxury Winter Wonderland Wedding at the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe. On Day 2 we had almost 100 crew members come in from Blueprint Studio and Hensley Productions, plus over 40 florists arrive with Javier Valentino. Today it is bright but still cold. Snowy, but not snowing. And that makes all the difference in the world! We are finally able to build the foundation of our atrium and continue loading into the ballroom. It is all very exciting!

The bride and groom tasked me with producing 6 separate events over the course of 3 days in Lake Tahoe. Our production schedule spanned 6 full days, beginning with loading in during a snowstorm!
