HOW I WORK
I believe that the pretty is nothing without the process.
Your experience begins with a phone call. If we have gotten this far, then we know that you and I share a similar worldview. We believe that bigger is better, that more is more. Together we will seek to create an over-the-top interpretation of your love. I am thrilled to know that the work I produce resonates with you. The next step is to determine if we are a good fit personality-wise.
I become the custodian of your future memories. The work we will do together is very important. It only works if we get to know one another on a deeply personal level. And so, we begin by spending quite a bit of time getting to know one another. Whether in person over lunch or online via Instagram and Zoom, nothing happens until I have a sense of who you are as separate individuals and as a couple. This is about storytelling your past, your present, and your future. It may seem silly or even a little trite, but for me to do my best work, we must become friends.
Event planning is a full-contact sport, a collaborative endeavor. It's about trust and teamwork. You choose me, and I choose you back. From that moment on, we're are in this together. I am by your side, working to bring your vision to life. Your role is to open yourself up and dream without reservations. My job is to see you, understand you, and design an experience that tells your love story through my lens.
We will discuss the broad strokes of your experience. What do you want your wedding to look like, to feel like? We start with sweeping gestures as we discuss seasonality, the time of day, and possible locations. Then, I apply a sensory approach as we explore the colors, textures, sounds, and smells you want to feature. Slowly, these elements combine to create an immersive experience that can only be described as utterly “you.”
The environment we create together is the most important thing. We live in a visual society. What your space looks like matters. The atmosphere is about what people will see, hear, touch, and taste. These things matter! Therefore, event design is where we spend the majority of our time. While we will look to the world for inspiration, I specialize in doing things that have not been done before. I never knock off someone else’s work, and I refuse to do the same event twice. For that reason, it will be impossible for me to show you a photo of what your wedding will look like. Instead, we will work with mood boards, sketches, renderings, and narratives. To surprise and delight, some elements will be kept a secret, unseen until they are unveiled to you.
Are you feeling a bit scared or unsure? I understand! But it is exciting, isn’t it? Yes, there is a risk in being so vulnerable while creating something that never existed before. I believe that this is where the magic is. In these moments, you allow yourself to be delighted and surprised. And isn’t that the point?
I ask you to trust the process and to trust me. Our production partners will bring together the finest tables, chairs, and florals. We will set the mood with lighting and texture. Our catering partners, sommeliers, and mixologists will work together to build a progressive dining experience. The entertainers bring energy and excitement. All of these moving parts come together and establish the whole. Working in unison, each element creates the feeling of coming home. For one night, the world is a perfect place.
PLANNING THE BEST WEDDING EVER
What does all of this mean if your wedding has no soul? The goal isn’t simply to spend money for the sake of spending it. Everything we do is in service of connection.
You want your family and friends to leave saying that this was the best wedding ever. To turn a moment into a memory so that your guests hail it as one of the greatest nights of their lives, we finalize the design with the guest experience in mind.
Once the design is done, we walk through the day as if we were your guest. Every interaction is a touchpoint. And so we ask the questions…
What are we saying to your guests with your save the date and invitation suite?
How user-friendly is your website?
Have we created experiences?
What opportunities do we take to show them they are valued and loved?
How are they greeted and what are they served?
Have we dazzled them with the food, and surprised them with entertainment?
How do we move them from experience to experience throughout the evening?
Layer upon layer. Moment by moment. From sight to sound, sound to smell, smell to touch, touch to taste. We walk through the day until we can close our eyes and believe we are in the room.
And there, in the midst of it all, is you. Surrounded by the people and things you love most.
Just as you should be.

I have dedicated my life to celebrating life, luxury, and above all else…love. My job is to create extraordinary experiences for people who lead extraordinary lives. I do this by bending the universe to my will. For one night, the world will be a perfect place.

COMMUNICATION
Communication is unlimited; phone calls, emails, text messages, and in-person meetings. Some of my clients are very tech-social and like to share via Instagram Direct Messages. Others prefer in-person meetings over coffee or lunch. Whatever works for you is what we will do. We will have phone calls. We will have meetings. We will text, trade, and hopefully play. This is supposed to be fun! Let's have a good time!
We must respect the work we are doing together. I pride myself on being available for my couples. Communication is constant and comprehensive. You will speak to me, and I will speak to everyone else. I am the hub that connects you to the larger team, reviewing details and working to ensure that we are on point, on time, and on budget. Proposals and contracts will be reviewed and sent to you clean, with utter transparency. You will have the opportunity to review everything and ask questions. Answers and a pathway forward are not always instantaneous. Some requests require research, time, and answers from our supporting teams. You will be kept up to date on the progress of any and all tasks. Inquiries and questions will be responded to within one to two business days.
We will work together to complete our tasks during business hours, with the understanding that we may occasionally need to schedule calls and meetings after hours and on the weekends. We all lead big and busy lives, and will always strive to respect your schedule and your private time.
