BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE MREP WAREHOUSE

Go behind the scenes and see the MREP warehouse as we create the North Star for ARIA Holiday Installation.

As a wedding planner, I am designing for one couple for one night. The installation and the art needs to be viable and beautiful for 6 to 8 hours at most. As an artist designing a hotel installation for a lobby, the piece needs to be sustainable and resonate for hundreds of thousands of people for 6 to 8 weeks.

When producing the North Star at ARIA Resort I knew that I needed a production partner that was familiar with the space and also skilled at producing large scale pieces that could withstand the test of time. MGM Resort Event Productions was the obvious choice. Many people are familiar with their work and casino, marketing and hotel design, but very few people have ever had the opportunity to visit their show room and work with the skilled artisans that actually create these pieces.
