VANESSA + ROBERT AS SEEN IN INSIDE WEDDINGS
Vanessa and Robert’s oh so pretty in pink wedding has been featured in the latest issue of Inside Weddings Winter 2022/2023.
Called the “Floral Fantasy” by the magazine’s the editor-in-chief, this wedding was a celebration of a couture color selection, with shades of beautifully layered pinks, peaches, and ivory. We once again transformed the ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria with a hand painted dance floor and accents of glamorous gold.
My relationship with my clients is sacrosanct and absolute. We spend countless hours talking about how they see the world, how they wish it was, and what they wish were true. The intimacy of our process allows me to truly understand who my couple is so that I can bend the universe to my will, making the world a perfect place for just one night. One of the most vital elements of the wedding were the florals. Vanessa is decidedly feminine. We wanted to express her softness and romantic side through the use of big, beautiful blooms. We started with arches of greenery filled with pale pink, hand opened roses. As guests entered the ballroom, they were struck by the blooms that fell from the sky, set against the light fixtures and interlocking orbs. An aisle of petals lead to the ceremony stage, topped with hand painted screens and layered with roses.
After the ceremony, we treated our guests to a vibrant cocktail hour outside while we opened the drapes, rolled up the carpet, and revealed the dance floor and the tables. When guests returned to the ballroom, they were surprised and delighted to find themselves surrounded by candlelight, towering centerpieces filled with roses, and live music from Phearnone playing alongside DJ Spynfo. Each place setting showcased a thick menu with gold lettering, detailing a multi-course menu and wine pairing alongside individual bouquets set in crystal vases.
