JOHANNA + KEVIN: A LUXE BELLAGIO WEDDING
As long-time guests of The Bellagio, there was no doubt that The Rodney’s would say “I Do” on property. Given that they were getting marring in October, which has near perfect weather, the couple opted to forgo the chapels and ballroom, choosing the lower pool deck and the Grand Patio as their wedding locations.
Having opened the Bellagio in 1998 as a wedding coordinator, the space hold a very special place in my heart. Renown for its old world, elegance, and European styling, it was incredibly interesting to design a wedding with such sleek and modern touches. My bride loves feminine touches, and really wanted to explore different shades of pink and champagne. It was important, however, that we didn't make the space too sweet, as we wanted the groom to feel equally at home at their wedding.
Johanna and Kevin chose to get married on the pool deck in front of the dark black, wrought iron gate beneath the Grand Patio. Surrounded by Cyprus trees and magnolia blooms, I wanted to keep the space
With sleek black furnishings as our base, we layered roses of various shades and sizes to create contrast and a bit of drama.
