LUXURY TIMELAPSE AT ARIA LAS VEGAS
My clients seek connection and transformation. My promise is to bend the world to their will so that the world will be a perfect place. I see a world that does not yet exist. Bringing that world to life takes massive amounts of labor, a choreographed load-in, and months of preparation.
Very often, I find myself hosting both a wedding ceremony and a reception in the same space. To transform the room, we are required to “flip” the space. This can include everything from adding tables and moving chairs to removing decorative drapes and revealing new walls.
This wedding was designed to surprise and delight guests through massive change. The intent was to take guests through a sensory experience, starting with the scenery. To do so, I began with a stark white ceremony accented with mounds of greenery. After the couple took their vows, the guests moved to the cocktail hour while we took the space through an intensive metamorphosis.
With a team of over 100 laborers waiting at the ready, we released the white drapes from the sky, moved out the mounds, transformed the orchid aisle way into an art installation, and removed a portion of the carpet to reveal a cement dance floor. This room flip took about 90 minutes, many of which the couple was in the room for. You can watch it here in less than 90 seconds.
