DRAMATIC ROMANCE: A CAPTIVATING BLACK AND RED WEDDING IN LAS VEGAS
Step into a world where opulence meets sophistication, as we delve into the mesmerizing realm Gabriela and Bradley’s wedding.
When I began working with Gabriela and Bradley, I was struck by how much romance there was in their relationship. Young lovers that began dating in high school before welcoming their daughter, these two were always making efforts to do something special for one another. Everything about their love story, their history, and the way that they live their lives felt over the top. It was only right that their wedding design encorporated some of those elements as well.
For this couple, I envisions a high-end black and red wedding. Hosted at Resorts World, this unforgettable celebration was filled with beautiful details. The red and black color palette created a sumptuous ambiance for friends and family, filled with exquisite decor and exclusive touches such as gold rimmed black velvet chairs, modern arches wrapped in hand opened roses, and a stage finished in assymetrical floating roses.
Guests entered the room through a drift town, filled with arches of hand opened, black, magic roses. A plates cast a pattern on the ceiling, and the room opened up to reveal an aisle filled with red rose petals.
The arches opened up into a ballroom covered in black velvet drapes and black carpet. A thick aisle of rose petals filled the center of the room leading to a stage backed by abstract floating clusters of roses. Black chairs, golden trim, and pedestals florals sat on each side.
Red and black feel a bit like magic. They communicate drama, passion, and sophistication with a sense of elegance, mystery, and romance. When brought togehter with a unique design that allowed all guests to be seated around the dance floor this room set the tone for a high energy reception.
Guests were treated to a wonderful five course dinner celebration and an open bar featuring bottles of 1942. During the tasting, Bradley specifically wanted to ensure that his guests were treated to meticulously plated dishes infused with bold flavors and artistic presentation. He wanted their family and friends to have the opportunity to see and taste things they may not usually enjoy, such as nitro-ice cream blended onsite with a mix of varying liquors.
Both the bride and groom love nightlife and celebrations. To avoid having the night drag on, we created a club vibe with specialty lighting brought in by Jacob Creative & Co which paired and moved perfectly with the sound sets performed by world-reknowned DJ Digital Dave. The lights and music mesmerized guests, keeping them on the dance floor and leaving them breathless by the end of the night.
