A hotel art installation celebrating the Holiday Season of 2022
I’ve been a little quiet over here lately, but with good reason. I’m so excited to announce that I am the artist in residence at ARIA for the holiday season.
During the last two years I’ve spent quite a bit of time thinking about how I want to grow and expand, not only a a business, but as an artist. After studying interior design, which I love for myself, I discovered that I wanted to work on creating environments that are ephemeral in terms of how they are experienced. My goal is to bring forth magic and beauty that must be experienced now, something that delights and inspires and makes you see the world in a different way, and then it just….disappears. Allowing us to create something new all over again.
I wanted so much to create my first hospitality art installation at ARIA, which is my home away from home, the center of the strip, and the host hotel of so many of my signature weddings. Their service standards, the quality of their products, and the way in which they have transformed Las Vegas Boulevard deeply aligned with my vision and values. The goal was to create something worthy of this property while elevating the existing spaces. The story behind the design is at once incredibly personal and universal, allow both locals and visiting guests to experience the space in a new way.
Working with the team at ARIA in partnership with the brilliant production crew at MREP has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional life.
This dazzling design will be unveiled in the Main Lobby in conjunction with the Patisserie at the end of November and will show the world #HowWeVegas.
