ARIA WELCOMES THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH DAZZLING DISPLAYS
Winter installation features 28-foot-tall North Star and over 10,000 crystals
LAS VEGAS (Nov. 28, 2022) – The holidays have officially arrived at ARIA Resort & Casino as “The North Star” display welcomes guests with a brilliant winter wonderland, starry scenery and breathtaking imagery.
The vibrant design by Las Vegas-based event planner Andrea Eppolito in collaboration with the ARIA pastry team and MGM Resorts Event Productions takes guests on a magical journey throughout the resort. A towering 28-foot North Star stands in the center of the ARIA lobby, surrounded by larger-than-life crystal shards, flocked trees and a starry night of celestial starbursts above. The teams worked for over 100 hours to create and install the one-of-a-kind winter experience that combines elegant holiday décor with nostalgic custom confections.
“I see ARIA as the North Star of Las Vegas Boulevard, leading both locals and visitors to a place where they can be dazzled not just during the holidays, but always. It was an honor to work with this incredible resort to create the winter installation,” said Andrea Eppolito. “The design of this display is timely and timeless, intended to add pure magic to the holidays.”

Fun facts about The North Star display:
Standing at over 28 feet tall with a 30-foot-long tail, The North Star in the resort’s main lobby welcomes guests with more than 10,000 twinkle lights and 10,000 individual crystals
ARIA’s Horticulture team adorned the space with real flocked evergreens, soft dusty miller plants and white florals
· More than 2000 pounds of sugar and 90 pounds of rolled fondant bring the lobby and ARIA Patisserie window displays to life
· Delectable cream puffs and madeleines make for sweet holiday décor in the ARIA Patisserie window and the flowers adorning the trees are made completely of rice papers
Set adjacent to ARIA’s lobby, with charming views of The North Star, the Lobby Bar celebrates the season with festive holiday cocktails such as ARIA’s Holiday Martini made with Calvados Apple Brandy, Pommeau de Normandie, Nocello, Demerara, fresh lemon juice and Angostura bitters and the Fiery’Nog with hot coffee, Fireball Whiskey, Licor 43 and simple syrup, topped with ARIA’s eggnog foam. Delicious holiday treats are available for purchase at the ARIA Patisserie.
