AND INTERVIEW WITH FLOWERS BY EDGAR
Luxury Wedding Floral Design, Bespoke Installations & Expert Insights
Every great story starts with a spark, and ours began on Instagram.
In the way that the universe sometimes winks at you, Edgar and I were first connected online—two artists orbiting the same digital spaces, drawn together by a shared love for beauty, storytelling, and transformation. We followed each other, admired one another’s work from afar, and exchanged supportive messages over the months.
And then, a moment changed everything.
I had just completed one of my proudest non-wedding design installations—the holiday décor and lobby design for the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Edgar saw the images I posted and, in true style, didn’t just send a comment or a DM. He booked a flight.
Edgar came to Las Vegas specifically to see the installation in person. I gave him a private tour of the space, walking him through the story and intention behind every piece. It was already special—but then, in a way that only Edgar can, he elevated the moment.
When we sat down for what I thought would be an intimate lunch, he surprised me with a full luncheon, carefully orchestrated and filled with some of my favorite industry partners. It was unexpected. Thoughtful. Glamorous. And utterly unforgettable.
The next evening, Edgar and his husband, Macio, joined my family at our home for dinner. They brought along the extraordinary photographer Rene Zadori and his wife. That night was filled with laughter, food, and an instant sense of closeness that can’t be explained—only felt. We didn’t just connect. We clicked.
And yet, as magical as it felt, it took nearly a year for the universe to give us the couple we were meant to serve together. But when that moment arrived, everything aligned.
Since then, Edgar and I have had the privilege of designing and producing weddings together across Las Vegas, Napa Valley, and Mexico. Each event has been an exercise in trust, an explosion of artistry, and a testament to what happens when visionaries come together without ego, but with immense respect for each other's craft.
What we’ve built is more than a working relationship—it’s a creative partnership rooted in shared values and mutual inspiration. Edgar brings elegance and opulence into every space. He understands not just what makes something look beautiful—but what makes it feel beautiful. Together, we amplify each other’s strengths, creating experiences that are layered, immersive, and unforgettable.
There’s so much more to come, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.
But for now, I’m just so grateful that Instagram brought us together... and that the art of storytelling keeps us bonded, creating magic one event at a time.
With love always, Andrea

A Conversation with Flowers by Edgar: Artistry, Emotion, and Unforgettable Floral Moments
Can you describe your signature floral style and what makes it unique in the luxury wedding space?
What truly sets Flowers by Edgar apart is our ability to create new and meaningful signature pieces by reading our couples—diving into their joys, their energy, and what makes them unique. To truly know your people is the greatest style you can have. That emotional connection inspires everything we create.
What’s your design process when working with couples who want something completely bespoke?
We always begin with the couple's vision. We take our time to understand what’s been shared, and then we gather at our design table to consider the timing, seasonal florals, and opportunities for elevation. Using a blend of hand sketches and AI renderings, we conceptualize the vision and bring it to life with a one-of-a-kind mock-up right here at our studio.
How do you translate a couple’s personality and love story into floral design?
This is the heart of it all. We listen. We seek to understand. And then we respond with art. We spend time with our clients. We observe the joy in their expressions. Our team surrounds them, tuned in to every nuance. That immersion allows us to create masterpieces that feel personal, emotional, and alive.
What are some of the most extravagant or unique floral installations you’ve created?
One that immediately comes to mind is our collaboration with Andrea Eppolito in Las Vegas. We reimagined chandelier placement, incorporating thousands of feathers and creating photo moments that were beyond cinematic. From custom inscribed dance floors to a personalized cart for the couple’s dog—it was opulence with personality and soul.
What should high-end couples consider when selecting a floral designer for their wedding?
There are many florists in the world. But the question I pose is this: Do you want a florist… or do you want an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience that lives in your heart forever? We offer more than flowers. We curate moments, we build relationships, and we create legacies. Many of our clients come back to us for baby showers, graduations, and beyond. That ongoing connection—that’s everything.
What are your favorite flowers to work with for opulent weddings—and why?
We adore Peonies, Ranunculus, and Lilies, among many others. They offer movement, depth, romance, and dimension. These blooms elevate a space and photograph like a dream.
How do you handle floral design for multi-day wedding events or destination weddings?
Our team thrives on structure and elegance. We operate with a mise en place philosophy—everything in its place. From detailed custom checklists to a network of trusted international partners, we’re built for the complexities of destination and multi-day events. And yes, we love a great passport stamp!
How do you collaborate with planners and production teams to ensure seamless execution?
It all comes down to relationship and communication. Just as we nurture our couples, we invest in our vendor partners. We follow up, operate with custom checklists, and only work with creatives who elevate each other. It’s teamwork at the highest level.
What trends are you seeing right now in high-end floral design, and what do you predict is next?
Right now, we’re seeing bold color palettes and installations that feel more like immersive art. Florals are taking over ceilings and walls. As we look ahead, I predict more neutral tones—browns, deep greens, plush textures—and non-floral centerpieces. There’s also a growing appreciation for florals as sculpture and living art.
What’s your philosophy on color palettes and texture when designing for lavish celebrations?
Be open. Embrace the range—ombre effects, reflective lighting, layers of texture. Texture brings sophistication. Scale brings drama. Go higher, fill the ceiling, and don't be afraid to reach for the stars. This is a once-in-a-lifetime moment—design like it.
How do you ensure the flowers are fresh and flawless, especially in challenging climates?
Take Mexico, for example. Our success there comes down to foundation and placement. We keep florals cool until the last possible moment, then deploy our team with ninja-like precision to deliver crisp, flawless arrangements. We spray. We cool. We do whatever it takes to protect the experience.
Can you walk us through a million-dollar wedding you’ve worked on and the role flowers played in the experience?
In our million-dollar builds, flowers don’t just decorate—they transform. From ceiling installations to custom carpeting, every detail is considered. We evaluate sight lines, floral heights, backdrop framing, and even the comfort of chairs. Whether it’s a folded napkin topped with a bloom or an elaborate stage, we design for the guest journey—from entry to exit.
What advice do you have for couples investing significantly in their floral design?
This is your moment. Take time to think about what brings you joy. Create different looks for each event. Don’t be afraid to lean into your individuality. The aisle, the chairs, the plateware—these are the decisions that create a gallery of memories. Step into your story. Own it.
What sets your team apart from other floral designers in the luxury wedding industry?
Our team is dedicated to excellence—not just in the work, but in how we treat people. We plan for every possibility. We bring a sense of calm to high-pressure environments. Our philosophy is simple: when we deliver perfection, we’re delivering a dream. And we don’t stop until that dream is real.
