Happy Anniversary to Morgan and Sam!

After postponing their nuptials for a year during the pandemic, they were finally able to say “I Do” at Aria Las Vegas on June 24, 2021.

When Morgan first got engaged, she and her sisters (three of them!) reached out to me via Instagram to ask about various venues, vendors, and design options. The family had initially planned to work with another event professional that had executed a series of events for the family in California, but it quickly became clear that we had an amazing connection and that Morgan was meant to be my bride!

Fashion-forward and very design orientated, Morgan wanted something different from the other weddings that she was seeing online. Her color palette was darker and moody, with deep purples, beautiful gold tones, and various shades of black which were certain to make the colors of our florals pop.

ARIA Las Vegas served as our host hotel, giving us access to the Primrose Ballroom which we transformed with black carpet, black drape, and black high gloss tables. The focal point of the ceremony, which took place on the balcony, was an asymmetrical chuppah built from gold mirrors and wrapped in hydrangea and roses. We set a high gloss black aisle in the center and lined it with candles. Live music was provided by Bella Strings, and the bride was absolute perfection in her Berta gown with custom sleeves.

After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while Javier Valentino created a canopy of purple florals set above the dance floor. Our tables were set with alternating centerpieces in various shapes and sizes, and we set a multi-tiered cake tower at the entry. With everything in the space being so dark and romantic, we asked that the cakes be wrapped in a shimmering white fondant so that they would really catch the eye.

Morgan and Sam love travel, entertainment, and nightlife. We tapped DJ Ultra to provide entertainment with a special guest appearance from DJ Ookay complete with saxophonist and CO2 cannons. And when the bride and groom cut the cake, she changed into another beautiful Berta.

One of my favorite things about this couple was their steadfast commitment to their vision. The more time you have to plan, the more you see, the more often you can question your choices or consider making changes. Morgan and Sam never once changed their vision. We designed the right wedding, at the right time, for the right couple. All we had to do was wait.

Congratulatulations again Morgan and Sam. It was such a pleasure planning your wedding.

Always…a
